In April 2024, Amazing DMC Iceland delivered a major international incentive program for Sunrun, organized in two waves. The five-night program combined adventure activities, wellness experiences, and a spectacular gala evening, allowing guests to tailor their own Icelandic experience while celebrating their achievements.

Program Overview
The program brought together top-performing participants from across the United States for a five-night incentive journey in Iceland.
To ensure a smooth experience while managing a large number of guests, the program was organized into two separate waves. This structure allowed participants to enjoy Iceland’s activities and landscapes comfortably while maintaining a high level of service and coordination.
The program combined adventure, wellness, and celebration—creating an experience that highlighted Iceland’s unique landscapes and culture.

Accommodation and Guest Services
Participants were hosted at two centrally located Reykjavík hotels:

Canopy by Hilton Reykjavik City Centre
Both hotels offered easy access to Reykjavík’s restaurants, cultural attractions, and departure points for excursions throughout the program.
To ensure a smooth guest experience, Amazing DMC Iceland operated a dedicated hospitality desk at both hotels during the day. The on-site team assisted guests with excursion departures, activity information, and general program questions.
Having a local team present allowed the program to adapt quickly when needed and ensured participants felt supported throughout their stay.
Personalized Guest Experiences
A key goal of the program was to give participants the opportunity to tailor their own Icelandic adventure.
Amazing DMC Iceland created a custom online platform branded with the client’s logo, allowing guests to select their preferred activities in advance.
Participants could choose from nine different adventure options, ensuring each guest could shape their own experience.
Options included:
• visits to the iconic Blue Lagoon
• luxury wellness experiences at The Retreat Spa at Blue Lagoon
• scenic helicopter experiences exploring Iceland’s landscapes
This flexible structure allowed participants to personalize their program while ensuring logistics remained coordinated across both waves.
Adventure and Exploration
Throughout the program, guests had the opportunity to explore Iceland through a variety of optional excursions.
From geothermal landscapes and volcanic terrain to wellness experiences and aerial sightseeing, the activities showcased the diversity of experiences Iceland offers incentive travelers.
The combination of adventure and relaxation ensured that every participant could experience Iceland in a way that suited their interests.


Gala Celebration at Harpa
One of the highlights of the program was a spectacular gala dinner hosted at Harpa Concert Hall, one of Iceland’s most iconic venues.
The celebration took place in Silfurberg Hall, a dramatic event space designed for large international gatherings.
The evening featured:
• live entertainment
• professional photographers capturing the celebration
• a vibrant atmosphere bringing the entire group together
The gala served as the perfect culmination of the incentive journey.
